Lincoln multi-gun division

Lincoln Rifle Club action pistol matches are sanctioned by the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA).  All of our matches are governed by the latest USPSA rules.

REQUIREMENTS:  Verifiable USPSA / IDPA match experience and/or classification, or an "Intro to USPSA" safety course completed within the last 12 months.  

EXEMPTIONS:  No exemptions for LEO / MIL, NRA instructors, private training, "Been around guns my entire life", licensed gunsmith, etc.  None of this experience is inclusive of our strict safety practices and expectations.  All competitors are expected to have read and understand all applicable range and match rules BEFORE coming to the match. 

SAFETY COURSE:  The "Intro to USPSA" safety course is currently offered by Solano Targetmasters at Yolo Sportsman's Club.  Email Ron Sechler at to register.

WHEN / WHERE:  Matches held the 1st Saturday of the month, rain or shine on the Ormsby Action Range.  


TIMES:  Gates open at 7:30 AM, shooter meeting at 8:30 AM, first shot at 9:00 AM.  All competitors are expected to help reset targets, and tear down stages after the match.  All shooters must attend the shooter safety meeting.

EQUIPMENT RESTRICTIONS:  Competitors are solely responsible for ensuring that they are in compliance with applicable laws.  Match staff will only check to ensure compliance with requirements specified in our match rulebook.  


  • $10 for juniors (17 and  under)
  • $20 LRC members
  • $25 Non-members
  • $30 Walk-on, subject to space in match.

Lincoln members and non-members are welcome.  USPSA membership is highly encouraged, but not required to shoot.  Round count is a maximum of 32 scoring hits per stage, and we generally run 4 stages.  All divisions are recognized.
