combat action pistol

Match Details

The Combat Action Pistol Match (CAP) is held every Wednesday April through August. It starts at 5:00pm at the Ormsby Range.

Course of Fire

The match will consist of a 150 round course of fire where targets will be engaged from 5-25 yards. Including firing from standing, prone, kneeling and sitting. Match participants may fire either a revolver or auto-loading pistol. Participants should bring a holster, at least three magazines or speed loaders and at least 150 rounds of ammo. Time limits will be applied to all stages of fire and all stages will require drawing the pistol from the holster in order to engage targets.

Cost

The match "buy-in" is a one time fee of $20.00 for the first match and additional matches will be $5.00. The purpose of the match buy-in is to make match participants eligible for the club awards.
